Cultural Celebration in Munich


Impressions from the

Oktoberfest 2009

16 days of festivities have just come to an end -- and it was once again a cultural highlight to celebrate the Oktoberfest 2009 in Munich!


One of the largest cultural festivals of the World, the "Wiesn" attracted 5.7 million visitors this year -- despite the marvelous weather a lower record than previous years. Nevertheless, the consumption once again reached incredible levels: 6.5 million liters of beer, 111 oxen and approximately 500.000 chicken.
